Thunder Cliff Peaks - Week 1

Given that this is supposed to be a community board I thought where better place for people to report on their local (or National) league escapades!

Well, there's bee a furious bit of gaming in some quarters over the last week - even with the Easter break getting in the way! Quite a few league points picked up with some people obviously wanting to take an easy start to the league (or be on holiday with the family... ;) ) The Easter Break has made it difficult to get a kick off event in - especially as it coincides with Natcon - so we decided to take the results of the Thresher tournament, run a few weeks ago, and use that to kick start a lot of the scores (this was emailed around before the event so there should be no surprises for those who read their email!) It's good to see one or two 50 point games played as well, the local Meta has been exclusively 35 point games since Mk2. The large number of new players that we've gathered over the year have now mostly expanded their collections past the 35 point mark and old the old Mk1 dogs have found their feet so the gradual slide is now towards 50points and the list building challenges that brings. Who knows, we may have a HardCore tournament before the year is out....
